Where ad visitors land
Every page ads send people to, with how often each one turns a visit into a lead, so a weak page gets fixed before more budget goes to it.
Orbit reads the ad links people arrive with and follows them on your site: visits, leads and their value for every Google and Meta campaign, down to the ad or the search, next to what organic search brings in.
Definition
UTM parameters are tags added to the end of a link, such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign, that tell analytics where a visit came from. Ad platforms and email tools add them, so a visit can be traced back to the campaign, and sometimes the ad or search, that sent it.
Read from the ad links themselves, with no ad account to connect.
1. Ad visits
Visits from Google, Microsoft, TikTok and LinkedIn ads are recognised by the ad click even when nobody tagged the link, and tagged campaigns show in Sources with their leads and value.
2. Campaigns
Open a campaign to see its ad sets and ads on Meta, or the searches behind it on Google when the links carry them, each with its visits, leads and value.
3. Paid and organic
For each search, the visits your ads sent next to the clicks Google sends for free and where you rank, so the budget goes where organic search can’t reach.
Every ad sends someone to your site. Orbit shows what they did once they got there.

Everything is read from the ad links visitors arrive with, so nothing needs access to your Google Ads or Meta account.
On a shop that doesn’t send its orders yet, ads are judged on add to cart and checkout started, never called conversions.
Every lead from an ad keeps its journey: the campaign, the page it landed on and what it read before getting in touch.
Spend and cost per lead stay in your ad platform. Orbit shows what ad visitors did on your site, and says when a link carried no campaign.

Included on every plan
Ad campaign reporting is part of Analytics on every plan, Launchpad included: ad visits, every campaign down to the ad or the search, and what each one brought in.

Clicks are what you pay for. Leads are what you want.
Add UTM tags to every ad, email and post you control, with a campaign name you’ll recognise later. Untagged Google, Microsoft, TikTok and LinkedIn ad clicks are recognised anyway.
An ad with cheap clicks and no leads costs more than one with dear clicks that bring in clients. Value each kind of lead in Revenue and compare campaigns in money.
Half of an ad’s result is the page it sends people to. A page that doesn’t convert wastes every click it gets.
Where you already rank near the top, an ad often buys clicks you would get anyway. Where you don’t rank, it fills a real gap. Your rankings are in Search.
Ad campaign reporting is one part of Orbit, the website growth platform for agencies.
